Surely dependant on your hardware...mobo, psu etc ?

    I have oc'ed my 4770k to 4.4.

On my mobo all I did was go 100x44

I fixed the cores and kept the cpu voltage at auto.
Prior to auto I tried 1.4, 1.5,1.6,1.7 and started to sh1t it to go further, each setting was unstable, so tried auto and it worked.
Disabled speed step and all that turbo stuff.

    Oh, I get it now,

You're not a nub like me, you're not looking for how to do it but an open conversation on the steps took by like minded types ?

    Yeah ?

    I'm drunk*

Step through oc plan... can't you just hit some button on your mainboard or some similar "laissez-faire" method that fits your enthusiasm to play with the hardware?

Nothing is the matter, I mentioned how you oc in at least 2 of your threads.. Not in the mood to type same thing over and over again :p

In in Haswell OC thread I made steeps what to do and how..

This is all you need to know for now

If its still too complicated, then read some more OC guides or dont OC at all.. You need to do some testing yourself now, idk how your cpu acts with different voltages, so yeah from here on you're on your own ;)

    Oh common...

Scooter man1 linked you to official Haswell thread, the one I made 1 year ago. THERE IS ALL INFO YOU NEED and some more..

And I posted few tips in your other thread, the one you finally build your pc, then I mentioned some stuff at your thread over @ TechpowerUP as well.

My last quote now was for another user and its the same for you, Im not in the mood to repeat same stuff over and over again. Your mobo isn't anything special that you need other settings.
Now if you're still to stubborn to read few posts then yeah go to Asus ROG.

i dont want to call my self anything . am not a forum Peacock like you guys .
i want to get to my games after so many troubles. its too soon to call me names in this thread fantaskarsef you seem new to this place .
its ok tj i didnt force you . you said we will oc then you want me to folow a guide
while i want to oc through a thread . a guy at overclockers web forced me to
use prime95 on my stock cooler and got my cpu throttling to thermal log .
i got back on him and i got my self a permanent ban .
now it smells like am being forced again here , dosnt it . al i said is no i dont want a guide .until i started getting attacked . i ocied my e8500 to 4ghz on the net before and did not use a guide
guys told me do this and dont do that . i can find those old threads on oc dot net
and nova tech forums but it late . and am tired .
let the guides for advanced users and reviews. i got this chip here
if u like to entertain i know its only few steps , i have real temp and cpu z
ill get a good bench mark and we can see how far this cpu will reach out of curiosity
if your not in the mood as you say ill just post somewhere else ,am not sad .
as you see i dont spam but i like to post on different forums its fun .

I think what we're trying to tell you is that we want you to do the work to read the pages of the overclocking thread. If we're just using you like a puppet to overclock your processor, it's kind of pointless because it's probably going to get damaged and then you're going to blame us. You really need to understand what you're doing when you overclock. If you came here and asked us like, "do you think it's safe to pull this voltage for this clock and get these temps", then we'd be happy to answer. Alternatively, we are not here to overclock their stuff for other people. It is not TJ's job to help every single user out there. If we did help users individually through one thread at a time, we'd never be able to help those out there that will read the guides.

This, couldn't have said it better.

I'm sorry if you feel offended by the term troll, which most likely is inappropriate. But overclocking is about maxing out your personal machine and hardware, finding out what it can take, and getting to know the background. It takes time and effort to do, and a feeling for your own components since none are the same. If you don't want to do that, you should better use those oc switches, buttons, and softwares that come with oc mainboards.

games all the time smack talk .

i wont damage anything and i dont understand the text guides ok ?

if tj want to wait until he gets in an ocing mojo raising mood then i dont mind waiting .
if your mojo"s rising you got to keep on rising
    rising rising .

Like I said idk how your cpu acts, I said set 4.6ghz @ 1.25v (manual fixed voltage) and go from there, if its stable lower volts, but you will need in DIGI+ cpu current at least 110-120% (4.7ghz+ will need 130% for sure), keep rest at auto in DIGI+.

Once you find your stable voltage switch to adaptive voltage - but DONT stress test @ this anymore ie Prime95, Aida64.. Or it will overvolt that 1.25v to 1.34v and it will get HOT.

And follow those quick tips in my quote above, about asus multi core enhance, SVID, etc..

Idk what else you want me to say, either test this or not ;)

I've been tweaking my cpu for over 1year so yeah it takes some time, but now I think I know pretty much every setting, ok expect for cpu Digital IO (for ram oc) need to test this some more..

that's not what I meant, what I mean is idk if you can even make it to 4.7ghz, some top out @ 4.5ghz with 1.35v. So yes you will have to find out for yourself. :)
