Man, driver releases are getting boring. A reviewer already said this driver contains no performance improvements over 14.3, and the same could be said of all the 14.x drivers, which have been releasing only once a month. Mantle version's the same as the previous drivers as well.

Sticky clocks?

The clocks run perfectly fine for me, they lock to my overclock 1175 and then return to normal.

guess someone who has the issue will have to chime in

on boot, clocks stick to 3d and dont drop to idle. You have to muck about with OD to get them to unstick.

Most likely not present in this build mate.

Mantle version is exactly the same as going back to 14.2.

For anyone curious:

- PCI Bus version is the same as 14.3 Beta
- AHCI version is newer
- Everything else chipset-wise looks the same as 14.3

Yeah thats what i get with the 14s, on a random restart/boot, the core clock will just lock at 3D mode and stay there, i can get it to unlock, but i also had random quick freezes/pauses as well while gaming with them.

Congratulations MS, you managed to finally remove the last method we had to access normal F8 safe-mode options by running the bcdedit legacy command with Update 1

Anyone else notice this? I thought the update had reset my legacy entry, so I applied it again, but it still doesn't work

Aren't you able to enter safemode by pressing Shift and clicking the restart option?

Didn't realise there was a shortcut for rebooting into safemode like that, noted for next time cheers

The only way I know is through advanced startup options in Metro, but its a p1ss on having to go through all those repair options first

F8 worked just fine, another example of MS thinking they know what is best for the user
