got mine yesterday from a kinda obscure online shop, at least it's not one of the uber retailers. then I seen after ordering amazon was expecting /had received tons of the same cards I went for so great news there, quick fire button for another next day delivery. so yeah the lil one is running 1.3v 24/7 at around 28 -32c, and when boosting I dunno, with my profile perhaps around mid 50s early 60s. with my batman origins preferred presets I got an uber 58 min (ran it with adaptive at 75fps) looks like a lightning of old, would for sure consider another, it can take 1.4v perhaps.(not tried yet) i'll take snap of her laters, with the noctua. I swapped out cause I had the last for a year and wanted something lets say ..snappy. *big thanks to WhiteLightning for getting past the 1.21 < cheers. Hilbert done a great hawk review also
fun times for sure, two of them will be a blast I had a 4gb version of the 760 at same price but decided on the one I choose, if i'm pushed it can be a PhysX decoder. I just know she'd love that. haha
Yes buy a 780Ti and the 760 as a PhysX decoder .I only play older games like red orchestra 2 fsx and rise of flight and they rock in those games in 3d mark 2013 i get like 10K without ocing them on win 7.If i was you sli them i was thinking adding a 3rd card as PhysX card but i don't think its nessecary for me
You can count me in this club, I've had two of the ASUS GTX760-DC2OC-2GD5 which are mini ITX cards for a little over a month now in SLI in my machine. Haven't overclocked the cards, as they're fast enough for me. They handle every game I have including Diablo 3, Skyrim and many other's with the graphic options maxed out quite nicely.
I was so far behind with my last rig (gtx260/e8400) that this gtx760 and 4670K at stock speeds are keeping me perfectly happy @1080p (42" HDTV). I'm saving OCing for the future. I was going to get a gtx780 but it didn't seem like I needed that much graphical horsepower at this resolution and it would be money wasted (twice the price). I can run BF4 at max settings and get a consistent 60fps (hz limited). Not sure what more I could ask for. The 760 is a fantastic performing card for the price. The GTX_60 series has always been that way.
Looks like a great overclocking card. I never had a 760 but if anything like the custom 680's 1.40v should be ok with better cooling and with both 1400 is in reach
I might start overclocking my cards one of these days. Hard OCP mentioned in their review the max they were able to get to for the ASUS GTX 760 was 1127 on the GPU and 1192 on the Boost clock with a + 5% power limit increase and voltage to +12mV using ASUS GPU Tweak which was the max my cards allowed and memory frequency of 6408 which was the max they also achieved, which isn't bad by the way. I checked using GPU Z and both of my cards have Elpida ram on them.
Here are some ln2 bios that might help for air or water i dont know i dont have 1....why i dont know. soon MSI GeForce GTX 760 Hawk (Elpida) xtreme oc BIOS: http://downloads.hwbot.org/downloads...HawkElpida.140 - MSI GeForce GTX 760 Hawk (Hynix) xtreme oc BIOS: http://downloads.hwbot.org/downloads...0HawkHynix.112 These puppies fly thuo
I dunno if it's the uber speed but my min frames in batman and bf4 have went up, in the part in bf4 campaign you land on the beach with all the sand flying around I used to suffer but not now. MSI extended mode puts the card into mega mode. but yeah, 1.3v max with AB it seems, you can put +200 on the volts but only up to 100 sticks. i'm doing bf4 just like I was before @75fps 1080, even better min fps now it seems. thanks for BIOSs, cowie.
i'm lovin it thb, at 1080 75fps I can see me with it for a while, sooner a nice uber game arrives the better though of course but till then i'm sitting tight.
