Maybe with the improvements made by Intel these smaller cases will be more common among PC gamers.

I wonder why aren't they making small cases like what Valve did with its steam machine prototype? It is almost the same size as the xbone at least it looked like that to me.

Compatibility! Design cost and don't forget about lack of PSU options.

The PSU in that thing is not a problem, at least it had the power to drive a 780.
