It is on the slow side. So won't be everyone's cup of tea.
My guess it will pick-up pace later on.

^Yeah but I read Matt and Woody are only in it for 8 episodes....that's a little bit disappointing.

I ended up getting hooked on this series(thanks Pill lol) and thought it was perfectly paced for the story line.It was a little confusing but that was what made you think. It will be interesting what they do with the next story if there is one.

Is it confirmed there will be another season? The way this story went, it doesn't seem there could be another season with these characters with as deep a story.

Will they do something similar to American Horror Story where each season is it's own unique story not tied to the rest (and possibly keep using the same actors in new roles as well)?

As for the finale and show as a whole, I thought it was outstanding with some great performances by the two leads. I can see this show cleaning up some awards.

It was my understanding that Woody and Matt were only in the first 8 episodes and that a completely different cast going forward would continue with a different story line.I have no idea if that is true or it was rumored or what.Edit: Just saw this.

Season 2 isn't confirmed yet. It probably takes some time to write something anywhere near as good as that was. And honestly I don't care who they hire, no one will come close to the performance of Woody and Matt.

This has been one of my favorite shows, if not my favorite show.
Almost everything is done so well, story(Nic), directing(Cary), and acting, basically the whole cast, but Woody and Matt, oh boy.

If you watch some of the interviews after the show, Matt and Woody both added a lot to their characters.
The environment/setting was character in itself.

Top notch.

Great show, it was the right length and shows that if it was a film you wouldn't have had enough time to cram the plot in. Would love this see a second series.

Also hanible and bates are back.

I was a great show... for the first 7 epidsodes. I'm not a hater of the finale, like many in the imdb forums and such but I too feel that the ending was rushed and left out way too many questions unanswered after masterfully opening them in previous episodes. The first 7 episodes were near sublime, the 8th was good but nothing more. Also considering that this is an anthology series, it will be really hard for the next season to live up to the first.
