"As part of the ASUS ROG product line, the ROG Front Base Dual-Bay Gaming Panel integrates seamlessly with any of the ASUS Z87-based ROG Maximum VI motherboard offerings in addition to the Rampage IV Black Edition motherboard."

Probably not, theres a special set of pins next to a set of USB front panel pins that the OC Panel from my Rampage IV Black Edition that it needs to plug into. My Sabertooth X79 certainly doesn't have them.

Those are the only two X79 mobos I have experience with, and my only ROG experience, and I doubt that its any different with any other non ROG mobos.

This product has very limited appeal. On a side note is there really a reason ROG parts are so much more expensive compared to their civilized brethren?

I think there should be one for any motherboard.

The added Headphone, Mic and USB are pointless. Any case these days have these by default.

OCing thru this is questionable aswell. Once you found your stable OC you can set it manually in the BIOS and forget about it.

Only usefull thing would be the Fan Controller, but you should simply buy a far superior Scythe Kaze Master Pro 5.25.

In other words ASUS needs money.
