    The new GeForce 331.65 WHQL driver ensures you’ll have the best possible gaming experience in Battlefield 4 and Call of Duty: Ghosts. These Game Ready drivers will also provide performance enhancements in a wide variety of different games.

    In addition, the new 331.65 Game Ready driver is bundled with GeForce Experience v1.7 which includes support for two highly-anticipated new technologies. NVIDIA GameStream™ provides end users with the ability to stream PC games from their GeForce GTX-equipped PC directly to a SHIELD device. This update also introduces the Beta version of GeForce ShadowPlay™, an innovated new game capture tool with exceptional features and performance.

    New in GeForce R331 Drivers

    • Performance Boost – Increases performance by up to 19% for GeForce 400/500/600/700 series GPUs in several PC games vs. GeForce 327.23 WHQL-certified drivers. Results will vary depending on your GPU and system configuration. Here is one example of measured gains:

    • Up to 12% in Battlefield 4
    • Up to 19% in Sniper Elite V2
    • Up to 13% in Dirt: Showdown
    • Up to 9% in Metro: Last Light
    • Up to 9% in Sleeping Dogs

    Changes and Fixed Issues in Version 331.65
    The following sections list the important changes and the most common issues resolved
    since versions 331.58. This list is only a subset of the total number of changes made in this
    driver version. The NVIDIA bug number is provided for reference.

    Windows Vista/Windows 7/Windows 8 Fixed Issues

    • Firefox browser may crash while running Adobe flash videos. [1363639]
    • With Windows AERO OFF, application windows are corrupted after rotating panscan clone displays. [1341434]
    • [GeForce GTX 650 Ti Boost][Monster Hunter Frontier]: There is display corruption when running the game demo. [1290613]
    • [Notebook]: Hot key switching to LCD+HDMI clone mode may not work. [1265293]
    • [Optimus]: DirectX 10 and DirectX 11 applications will not go to full-screen mode after several ALT+TAB switches. [1390009]
    • [Optimus][Command & Conquer: Generals]: The game crashes when pressing AltTab or minimizing or maximizing the window.[1377410]

      Windows 8.1 Fixed Issues
    • [3D Vision]: Games are forced into red/green stereoscopic 3D mode after upgrading the OS to Windows 8.1 [1355441]
    • [Optimus][Command&Conquer: Generals]: The game crashes when pressing Alt-Tab or minimizing or maximizing the window.[1377410]

    Known bugs in Version 331.65
    • 1358403 - Desktop browser freezes/crashes with Geforce 460/560 cards
    • 1392369 - GPU Boost not working with some notebook GPUs
    • 1394264 - Optimus: Can't use dGPU after update to Windows 8.1.
    • 1394783 - GK104: Folding@Home performance dropped by almost 50%
    • 1367010 - Batman Arkham City crashes when fighting Dr. Freeze
    • (monitor specific bugs) - Monitor loses signal after driver update
    • 1310901 - GK104 SLI:WinBlue-64: (UEFI Enabled) Event viewer pointing error 14 to nvlddmkm and SLI modeset taking around a minute while disabling SLI
    • 1395438 - Win8.1: When you bring focus to accessory display in Surround + Accessory display configuration, entire PC freezes
    • 1395650 - Cannot override EDID in Surround mode
    • 1279007, 1386354 - Surround: Windows always maximize across all three monitors on Surround
    • 1394596 - Win7x64: SLI scaling under water in Team Fortress slower than single GPU
    • 1394508 - GK104: Call of Duty World at War crashes with pbcl.dll Punkbuster error when NVIDIA Surround is enabled
    • 1394355 - Playblack of videos on Media Player Classic Home Cinema with MadVR does not render with NVIDIA Surround enabled
    • 1392732 - YouTube video playback at 4K resolution in three-way SLI GK110 Geforce GTX Titan causes system to lock up.
    • 1352772 - Dirt Showdown displays poor SLI performance in two player split screen in Nevada map at night
    • 1398355 - Can't select 144Hz refresh rate on Asus VG248QE in Surround mode

    Check the filesize and code, there are differences.. EN/IN.. Oh the Notebook driver has no SP.

    Its an older branch but the driver date is newer than 331.58.

    It's not the first time Nvidia has published a new driver on an older branch. Nor will it be the last. :)

    As far as I can tell the only difference is the WHQL certification.
