I got terrible DPC spikes in latencymon and xperf with 331.40 however performance was acceptable so that's going to be the first thing I check in this set.

As a standard I always use Team Fortress 2 to detect these stalls as the engine its very sensitive to CPU time and it readily reproduces the problem while monitoring is active.

Perhaps because the hardware to actually use it is not yet available?

Could be a typo? v1.8 seems more plausible...

*EDIT*
This link *here* shows that v1.7 of GeForce Experience will be available on 28th October with Shadowplay beta so I think the version number is incorrect with these drivers. It's probably still v1.6.1 (it's the file version of GFExperience.exe that's v8.3).
