Default Best driver for HTPC AMD HD6400M ? - 10-05-2013, 02:23 | posts: 2

My HTPC is a laptop with an AMD HD6400M

It would be great to know if there is a 'best' version to use? I wish it was easy to figure out what video playback & HDMI improvements are made in the different driver version.

I'm using 13.6 beta 2 but I get Audio Dropouts randomly.

thx for helping!

13.4 or 13.8 would be my suggestion.

A laptop isn't the best option for an HTPC....

No particular reason for those 2, aside from 13.4 being WHQL and 13.8 being a later beta. 13.9 and 13.10 would be just as worthwhile to test with.

Laptops are built for mobility. By design (for mobility), they have very limited ability to dissipate heat and can easily overheat when stressed for long periods of time.
