http://www.station-drivers.com/index...on-326-83-whql

Just saw the 326.83 WHQL posted here, and thought I'd share.

I haven't tried them yet myself as they are listed as Mobile drivers and will need a modded inf.

The download link was dead a bit earlier, I'm not sure if its up yet.

*EDIT*

Link is working, still have not tested myself.

Maybe lappy drivers have lower graphics quality? Still its interesting for competitive/performance reasons........ Also station drivers tends to post old/lag drivers from time to time(quite often) because they take the stance of having a greater selection for everyone/niche uses vs pure performance/latest version(which does not always correlate).

I don't think that is the case here. This is just a mobile equivalent to the desktops 326.80.

Sometimes you'll have releases from the laptop manufacturers that Nvidia does not put up on their own site.

Who knows where this driver originated, but I'm sure it came from one of the manufacturers.

We don't know what game fixes this driver holds if any over the desktop 326.80. It could be the exact same thing, or it could include new fixes since it has a newer driver date.

My guess is that these will be the certified desktop drivers released early next week so I will wait as they are long overdue (they were supposed to be released late August/early September).

manuelg stated they found some more bugs hence why it takes longer.

Honestly the easiest way to find out is to try to install the driver first without the modded INF. If it fails to install, then use the modded INF.

I also think that this is related to the driver they would have released if it was not for the "bugs" they found and had to hold back the release. It's all guesses at this point though.

i was thinking "should i test another 32x driver again", maybe it has some fixes for 460 etc. blackscreen freezes.
yesterday played some games and surfing...nothing happen .
today doing nothing -> blackscreen
had to restart the maschine after some weeks again.
i have a bad feeling about incoming driver release...

Remove your antivirus and try it again. I know it's weird but it seems to influence the issue in my case.

No need to be a smartass friend. That's quite un-needed.

Anti-virus these days are so efficient there is no reason to not have one. I don't care how safe people claim they are.

I have common sense and still run one with no issues as a fail safe. There is absolutely nothing wrong with running one just as much as there isn't in your case.
