Default Gaming is crashing my new pc - 08-28-2013, 12:36 | posts: 2

When i run games they crash after about a few minutes. The whole computer just restarts. I am running dual monitors while running gpuz and coretemp to see if temps may be a problem. They are not. Is this most likely a power supply problem? Ive also run gpu and cpu stress test and nothing happens.

The main parts of my rig are as follows.

Asus Z87 PRO mobo
Intel Haswell 4770k
Galaxy 780 HOF
XFX 850 PRO black edition psu
Kingston Hyperx 2400

I wouls say ram or psu.

Run memtest to check RAM.If you are using Windows 7 it's simple:

windows key+r
type this: MdSched.exe

It is indeed odd that your psu is bad because i've read aweasome things about XFX quality, mainly cuz they are coming from Seasonic. The ones i read were the Core Edition version though.
