I think a new facepalm meme/emoticon/etc. should be invented just for this.
I can advise Steiger Dynamics for a nice place where they can stick their 800$ case....

I like it. Something to put into living room next to some awesome DAC and so... I dont think that it's even that badly overpriced.

For that price i don't think they should been aloud to put their big bold logo at front "Steiger Dynamics LEET case".

And, should be delivered at home by a playboy girl.

I can imagine the touchscreen is for a lot on the price ( this is funny, when you think of the utility of it ) I can only hope they have a second version without it for half the price ..

It's a very nice looking case, and very well built from the looks of it. I mean, 5mm is really thick for a case. Half a centimeter thick. I really like horizontal cases but I've never seen one this nice. The touch-screen is also a nice...touch.

If I had the money I'd definitely buy it. But I don't. I'll just sit in envy of those who can afford it.

The Samsung 800x480 touchscreen costs $40-$60 retail, he probably got a batch for much cheaper considering how obsolete the panels are.

I agree with everything said in this thread.

Not only that...

Quote:
Can accommodate motherboards up to E-ATX form factors (12 x 13 inches / 30,5 x 33 cm)
Can accommodate up to three SSDs and four 3.5 inch HDDs
Just 3?

Quote:
Can accommodate up to three dual-slot graphics cards up to (HxW) 11.5 x 4.376 inches each (> GTX 690)
