Hi sorry for my bad english but I will do everything possible to be understood in the most clear possible .
i am but this card XFX 7790 Black Edition 2gb , but every time I turn on the pc is frozzen and I have to restart, after that goes well, in the games and benchmarks not have any problems , i use the drivers 13.4 and try with 13.5 but is the same thing , but with the drivers AMD Radeon™ HD7790 Catalyst™ Performance Driver the problem is better and the pc frozen every 5 minutes , is possible that vga is broken? or problems for amd drivers?

Does it freeze when the bios post is shown or when windows is loading?

in windows , maybe pass 2 minutes or 20 , I've noticed that this happens when for example the load goes from little to much (ej : watch a video close the video and frozzen)

is the card new or used?

is it only video? do games work ok?

does it freeze when its just stiing idle?

disable video acceleration and see if it still freezes.

Log of gpu-z in windows only :
pass of 150 to 1600mhz the memory in windows and the gpu 300 to up and down .

the card ins new (10 days)

sorry, i mean turn it off in opera and see if it still locks up, its probobly flash being a pain in the ass.

make sure flash is up to date as well.

try a vidoe in IE, Firefox, or Chrome as well.

the acceleration of flash is disable in opera or ie , but happends to watching videos of the pc (mp4 , mkv , avi , etc).
the weird thing is that it is the first time only , after that whole days can be nothing happens , playing or watching videos in youtube or movies .

    Those graphs are very unusual...
Wonder what makes memory clock go up while gpu goes down.

-if temperature node readings are ok, then there was no load at time.
That may be caused by incorrect power states in card bios.
And may provide backing to theory that RAM voltage drops due to low GPU load while it's clock goes UP and would explain crash while idle. And no crashed under load.

Would be good to have voltage readings & to confirm that temperature monitoring works (place some load if temps go up).

yeah, that mem clock graph is odd...

all of the clock graphs should be spiking up to higher levels when in use, as there are only a couple of powerstates, they dont gradually increase like that.
