I've seen versions of this that didn't spin and whatnot but this is pretty impressive. I love how the fins open up, triggering the aiming lasers to activate. And the battery pack system is nice too.

That being said, those lasers are not toys, which is why I'm guessing he won't release plans. I have a 1W laser and you have to wear safety glasses when using it. It'll blind a person in less than half a second in direct contact and just looking at the beam from the side is enough to screw your vision up after a while. It's pretty neat how it can cut through stuff when all safety precautions are taken though.
