Nobody set a rule for the timeline to be always going forward. =b

Besides, even Brotherhood and Revelations had missions (stories) from Ezio's past before he became an assassin, and some others relive Altair's memories as well.

What have you people done to the AC series for gods sake.I couldnt even finish ACIII due to the uninteresting Boring story, horribly buggy gameplay etc.I loved every other AC and played them multiple times, but this..It's going nowhere...imo its the start of the death of AC.

Just give me ezio, put me in rome and make me a happy man again.....

I've read from somewhere that the game developers are aware that most of us were disappointed by AC3, that is why they promised to bring back stealth and an Ezio-like assassin in this AC. Forgot where I read that, it back was when the trailer was just released.

 Click to show spoiler

so I wonder how they will bridge that

Looks more like DLC for ac3..

I loved the naval parts of ac3 but this just looks as though Ubi want to milk it.. I dont love it enough to pay full price but will def pick up on sale as ac3 + the naval part was great fun.
