Every single place I've been with my phone. More than that, based on your locations, they assign certain areas as "Home" and others as "Work" based on where you are at certain hours at the day.

Damn right I turned it off.

im sure even it it turn off they still have some info on you, the internet is ever where and every one uses it.

Good thing my smartphone is too old to support their perversions (I got it in 2009 and have yet to feel a need to replace it).

I don't stay signed into gmail, youtube or anything else. Not even facebook. I signed in and clicked your link and it had no location history on me.

That's why I just use my SGS3 as a media centre, or for uses like sending texts or making calls.

No, I only use gmail and use Google for searching. Honestly I'm not sure how I ended up with a youtube account, but I don't use it. I don't even search while signed in.

On my facebook I have the map that shows two locations I've been at the last couple years. Not sure how that happened either since I try very hard to not be signed into anything I'm not actively using. I guess I was tagged, or technology finally outsmarted me.

Apparently I'm in San Fransisco about 8 miles off the coast in the middle of the water... I wonder how England ended up there, as I've never been to San Fransisco lol the Closest I've been is Buffalo, and that was 10 years ago. Funny funny google.

hehe nah I only got my first mobile phone 4 years ago when my daughter was born, just for emergencies, all I use it for really is reading ebooks.

Nothing. I don't use Latitude or Now or anything, and location sharing is kept off. I try to limit just how much information creepy uncle Google collects.

They save search history by default too, I found it weird to browse my search history from 2004! lol! Switched it off and had them delete everything then. I always keep an eye on google and facebook's privacy settings. They love flipping them around.

well, just checked...turns out google thinks im on the other side of the world..i guess its where the phone came from, dunno...anyway. tracking is off here...i made my own ROM, hehe...killed and removed all the stuff i think is bloatware and disabled everything thats tracking or logging me..

how u turn off history? is that possible?
Also, when u push teh home button for 2 secs, u get the history screens of ur phone display..know what i mean?
is there a way to kill this? i dont want screens made in the background...

You have to go to your google account settings, sign into dashboard (login is to the right) and then scroll all the way down and disable web history. Damn they've made it a long procedure, it was easier when i did it years ago. I don't know about Android as I use iOS but I think if you disable this it should kill your history homescreens.

haha .. yes. Youtube was incredibly pushy to do that. I didn't let it. Anyway I don't care as I have a google account only because I made it when gmail was in closed beta and it is useful for youtube.
