Halo 3 PC?

Microsoft have of course denied it but then they would. They did precisely that before Halo 2 was officially announced as coming to PC.

This on top of the Steam leaks awhile back with Halo 3? I really hope it's coming, I miss that game. I still play it sometimes but the population is so low. I put at least 3,000 hours into it back when I played regularly.

Everything points at it coming to PC but MS still say no. Driver entries for none existing PC games anyone?

Same, I would love to see it come to PC, just hope there would be a high enough population for multiplayer. I too put in a huge amount of hours playing this online, played well over 4000 games in matchmaking. It's probably my favorite multiplayer game I've played.

Agreed. I played with set group of mates regularly all with mics and team play was huge fun. Would be good to do the same with some people on this forum if/when it gets released for PC..

Would buy. Would even upgrade to Win8 if they were silly enough to make it a Win8 only title. I really enjoyed H3, the last proper Halo mp was number 3 imo, after that it went all bloated. I just wanna shot, nade and energy sword some mofo's...thats it. I dont need a million different attachments and special powers to enjoy some mp.

That's where Reach/Halo 4 lost me. Too many gimics and add-ons, like you said. Also the multiplayer ranking system was the best as it was True Skill so it made you work hard to rank up rather than just boring XP based leveling up which any old noob can put in the hours to achieve max rank. When you played halo 3 and came across a level 50 General you actually though s**t, gonna get owned.

They are planning to bring this back for Halo 4 but its still no Halo 3 and never will be.

H2 on pc is pretty cool, play online using Tunngle or whatever its called. No need for subscription.

Yeah it went super downhill after Halo 3. I still found Reach playable despite the stupid changes and played just over 2,000 hours worth of it though. But Halo 4... 343 has no idea what they're doing and completely killed it rather than saving it. I've played 3 days worth of Halo 4 since launch. When a game is so bad it completely turns a diehard fan like me off the series you know they really screwed something up.

I miss it so much. Getting both of my accounts to 50 and getting as much EXP as I could on my main account was really fun. Getting Onyx and Inheritor in Reach was just meh.
