If you don't have the budget to jump to Z77+3570K than that's a good choice if you plan to overclock, if not get h77+3350p.

Looks well balanced to me. What's wrong with your GTX660Ti though?

The 660ti is dead due to alcohol poisoning

FX-6300 isn't a bad buy if you can't afford Intel...and the HD7870 is a very nice card if you get one that likes to overclock....not sure I'd give up a 660Ti for it though.

At OP, the listed parts look good except for the PSU, I have not heard favorable feedback on the CM Extreme Power series. They are generally viewed as somewhat better than generic POS PSU, but well below the likes of Seasonic, Corsair, XFX, etc. I'd look for a good 550W PSU, or higher, from corsair, Seasonic and so forth. For a little more, try getting a PowerColor PCS+ Myst HD7870 XT, it uses the same core as the HD79xx series.

I def can't recommend Powercolour they are nothing but trouble.

There are horror stories all over the internet from owners of failing/dying PowerColor GPU's.

I will second the power supply concern here. I was uneducated on PSU's and picked up a CM Extreme 500W and got bombed in a thread here about 6 months ago lol. Its ok and may get the job done, but is inefficient and doesn't always meet its specs. Check reviews on Hardwaresecrets.com and you'll see what I mean.

Also, I would say keep that GPU and spend that money towards an FX 8320 or 8350. Even though the 6300 is good, with a better PSU, you can have more juice where you need it

^ I didn't have any problems with my Powercolor 5750 either, but I have read about people having issues with them. I guess like any company, there are both the good and the bad.

An Intel i5 or i7 is what you want for gaming...there is nothing better.

Thats a matter of opinion anymore. Some i7's perform worse than i5's in gaming due to multi-threading and the new 8 series FX chips beat many i5's for less money. It also looks like Intel is switching sockets (yet again), so everyone with a Sandy or Ivy Bridge is SOL for Haswell.

My system specs are very similar to yours and so far I haven't had any issues with games. Mostly been playing new Tomb Raider for last couple weeks & it runs beautifully at Ultimate settings.
Haven't had a chance to run Crysis yet. Waiting on new Bioshock to try something else new.

I'm behind the others, PowerColour is no good. Also the PSU is the platform to everything you have and once a good one has been purchased you'll not need to get another for builds to come. Everyone has their favorite, I prefer my enermax after having a couple others for their energy efficiency and also their stability is nearly unbeatable.
