I just go to control panel, and uninstall the drivers through the install manager.
Reboot.
Use the AMD driver clean up utility (not for use with windows 8)
Reboot.
Install new drivers.
These drivers seem to be pointed at Crysis 3 and Crossfire.
So I won't be using these.

They could be a bit more descriptive with the changelogs. I mean it would be perfectly ok if they just added "various internal bugfixes" or something like that, because they way it is you'd think they only fixed one issue with one game, which is... weird?

Safest option in my situation is Driver Sweeper (or later versions as Fusion). Both Atiman and AMD's utility broke my OS. Your experience may vary.

Just uninstall from control panel - reboot - install new driver - reboot - play !!
Please dont do all that useless stuff like running driver cleaners and etc.

don't have amd chipset/sata but will avoid it. I'll just do what I always do, uninstall, reboot in safe mode, run driver sweeper/ccleaner, reboot run them again and then install new driver. thanks for the warning btw.

Sadly, didn't rectify my crysis 3 "hangs" in xfire, still suffering from occasional DX_GI_ERROR claptrap. Sad, too, as crossfire performance (especially when combined the unequaled Radeonpro feature set , I.e. dynamic v-sync) has soared in nearly every recent (2 years or so) AAA title I've tested subsequent the splendiferous 12.11 driver.
Currently I am functioned by dual 7970 lightnings running 1125 / 1600 as my Crysis 3 exclusive hyper underclock. Typically stable @ 1300 / 1600 though, unfortunately at x16 & x8 pci-e 2.0 (though its largely irrelevant). I am going to do a sweep of drivers and operate stock clocks, see if it rectifies this sad & frustrating blemish on AMDs quarter-long, incredible driver optimization flip flop we users have been benefactors of.
