I hope they give us better graphics this time... unfortunately, even if it has great gameplay, I couldn't go over the muddy graphics.

You can always tweak/mod but i never though that DXHR had bad graphics.

I found the graphics in HR to be alright, not fantastic but not bad by a long shot. A little bit of tweaking and they were solid. I'm more worried about them putting out another soundtrack that's as good as HR. Absolutely fantastic music in that game.

Of course the graphics will improve, it will likely be next gen + PC release. The problem I had were the animations when people spoke, way too much gestures so I hope they tone it down. Hopefully no more 3rd person sneaking either, but I don't have exactly high hopes when it comes to that.

The engine is pretty awful, and I don't think they'll use another one for the DLC
But yeah, character models were simple and ugly. Animations were horrid. Colors were dull. Textures were bad. Not much redeemable there. And yet... I have a ton of really gorgeous screenshots from that game with ENB + SweetFX.... so there's that I'll probably keep using that setup if this DLC ever happens.

Although I felt it was lacking some details here and there I wouldn't say the graphics were bad. The general aesthetic/art was awesome and I was actually pleased with the final look of the game.
As for the gameplay, sound and story... compelling. I need more games like this one and I'm definitely very excited about a sequel.
Coincidentally, I started a second playthrough of HR three days ago!

Needs to work as a first person shooter this time, no more forced third person garbage. Also, the tiny heads were a constant distraction.

..Tiny heads?
I found the shooting mechanics to be fine. You just had to take the right upgrades in order to be decently effective. The franchise isn't primarily FPS based anyway, and should not be developed as such.

Shooting was OK, but aiming could be a bit tricky because even though the mouse was centered the aiming wasn't.

I thought the interiors were pretty good. It has been a while since I played it, but I never though the animations were bad. The cutscenes with the airplane thing landing and taking off were really bad though. All around good game.

Interestingly, I just Googled "deus ex small heads", and found an official response as the first result that I had never seen.

deus ex hr looked fine, played fine, sounded great, nailed the atmosphere factor, and was just a good game. the only bad parts were the boss fights (we all remember that drama), some of the voice acting, and the very end. the rest was solid.

Will be happy if they included decent Anti aliasing that actually worked. Running the game in DX11, none of the AA options removed the jaggered lines correctly. Running the game in DX9 was better, but had to force various anti aliasing settings via 3rd party program should not be necessary.

Human Revolution was awesome. And visually I thought it was great, it may not have been the most advanced looking game, but the art style was brilliant and looked great while playing the game.
