Enjoy
AMD Catalyst™ Driver for AMD Radeon™ HD 4000, HD 3000 and HD 2000 Series:
AMD has moved to the AMD Radeon™ HD 4000, AMD Radeon HD 3000, and AMD Radeon HD 2000 Series new driver support model. These updates will focus on resolving application specific issues and critical updates. The reason for the shift in support policy is largely due to the fact that the AMD Radeon HD 4000, AMD Radeon HD 3000, and AMD Radeon HD 2000 Series have been optimized to their maximum potential from a performance and feature perspective.

Oh well, as with the previous "legacy/agp" 12.6s, they forgot the specific AGP id's. For anyone running a 9515 3850 AGP, replace other card with:
Code:
"%AMD9515.1%" = ati2mtag_RV630, PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_9515
AMD9515.1 = "ATI Radeon HD 3850 AGP"

No.. The drivers have not been pulled back, there might be some problem with the File Hosting Server because none of the Download Links are working presently, 13.2 / 13.1 / 13.1 Legacy ..
guess they will fix that quickly , no big deals ..

Unfortunately this driver like those back to 12.6, no longer have the CAL routines on windows XP.

I don't believe 12.4 WHQL XP has them either looking inside the package.

no they dropped the cal routines for XP after 12.1, and those routines are needed for running projects apps on the gpu using BOINC. Though most projects are now switching to using opencl, there are still a couple that use the cal routines which is good because the hd2400 on my XP machine is not opencl capable. My win7 uses your modded driver for the integrated hd3000 and amd's driver for its hd5550. This causes lots of fun with BOINC, because one is opencl capable and the other isn't.

Guess the other thread was deleted. I've been using 12.6 and latest CAPs and have been playing the most recent games, such as FarCry3 with decent FPS and working CFX.
Could someone with my card comment on these new leagcy drivers as to their performance compared with 12.6? And I'm only interested in new games.
Thank you for your input!

Although also being on 4870x2 myself I'd rather not comment due to what happened last time I attempted it...
There are no one size fits all driver, you must do your own benchmarks and testing.

Can't say, but the word was that the legacy drivers would focus on bug fixes, not performance.

Anyone know if this works any better than the 12.6 for 32bit XP(yes yes I know I know but when your poor a working OS in hand is way better than ''HAHA Win7 is much better" in the 'Please let me hit you for not understanding Im not made of Money' bush)? I have a Radeon HD 4870 recently from a buddy of mine (woohoo even with 12.6 Driver Packaging Version 8.97.100.3-120703a-142837C-ATI I get consistant 60+FPS in MechWarrior Online!) to replace a nVidia GS 8400 1GB or is there a newer version (yes I know use the search option...that led me here and like most forums the amount of wading thru posts is like searching on Google using the letter 'A' only [try it and marvel at the results])
BTW Im stealing the funky banana gif

can anyone tell me whether it makes more sense for me with a RADEON mobility HD 4850 to go with these drivers or rather use the 12.11 B11 hotfix 11 drivers?
I play dota 2 and stream flash videos from twitch, so which of these 2 drivers is better for me?
