Well, even w/o MSAA there is a small performance bump. And with MSAA even more! 2xMSAA is running smooth with 50FPS+ now on my HD7870, 4xMSAA is 40FPS+.
So, the improvement isn't limited to 4x and 8xMSAA!

I take it CAP are pre installed into the driver so no need for CAP2 12.11?

Only if you (and everybody else experiencing the issue) report it here: http://www.amd.com/betareport
If you did already, good Not sure if it'll get fixed or not (or when), but letting AMD know directly of any bugs is always a good idea to have a chance at them to get fixed :p

I haven't gotten the chance to try 13.2 (official) on W8 yet, and I also only use Chrome :/ Sorry I can't be of more help than that though, but maybe someone else can chime in
I'm on Kubuntu 12.10 currently on 13.2 Beta 3.

hope this new beta didn't just improve upon that 1 thing,
because i suspected that the culprit behind my PC often froze is 13.2 beta series,
because after i installed that beta, since the unofficial beta and i'm currently on beta 3,
i've got random froze, and just froze not BSOD, and sometimes it can unfroze if i press ctrl+alt+del.
never had this issue with the previous drivers.
because the only thing changed in the last few weeks is only the driver for my GPU.

A simple question: I don't play Crysis... Do you think I can skip this beta 4? ...or better get it in any case?

Offler, you know 13.2 fixed the flickering issue, but and older problem came back: the top of the mountains are now flickering ... Is this called z-fighting? Because some guys were asking, and I just saw on YouTube that, yes, this is the "z-fighting".

then explain to me why in previous drivers, including 12.11 beta 11, there is no issue like this ?
besides it only froze during idle, aka when i'm not playing games (on desktop), my clock is at default (300/860 for core), i only change the clock during gaming.
besides like everything else on pc, if it doesn't happens to you, that doesn't meant the problem doesn't exist on someone else pc.

i've already know the changelog, but its only the changes that AMD mentioned, there is always invisible changes (changes that AMD didn't mentioned).

yes, that is Z-figthing. I know about that and I am able to replicate the issue, BUT it is not a driver issue. It was replicated on Nvidia graphics card too.

Will look forward to installing these after a long day of Uni. Another thing, could anyone explain why after uninstalling 12.11, 13.1 and 13.2 Leaked BETA my screen goes into standby and doesn't wake up, meaning I have to hard reset my PC?
