That is wrong.

She was not doing it during the time she was teaching and if she wasn't promoting it at the time then there isn't any reason for her to be fired.

The school shouldn't force on the poor teacher their ethical disgust (whether right or wrong) of her past. She needed to pay bills and how she did it is none of their business as long as it was legal.

And so what if she was a porn star in the past? It was a legal (and probably very hard emotionally) living.

It's sad that it would be fine if I was a "redeemed" gang member (who might have hurt someone) turned teacher but not a porn start (who only gives out pleasure to others) turned teacher.

They probably fired her for a few reasons,

1. Reputation of the school
2. When the kids found out they would circulate it around the entire school
3. Papers / Media would spread it around like wildfire too
4. Parents find out and remove their kids from the school / take the school to court

The choices you make in life will affect you in your future, if you're going to be a pRoN Star, then you have to live it it when you get older

I disagree and in fact find it highly hypocritical.

If Angelina Jolie were tomorrow take up a teaching position, no school would ever fire her despite her having film many sex scenes (and show nudity).

So let's drop this pretense that she did something wrong by taking on a fully legal job. I hope she takes this all the way to the supreme court if she needs to and sues the bejeezes out of this school.
