Oh well..latest GK110 rumor/info I just read on TPU: GK110 Geforce will be called the GEFORCE TITAN, named after the big monster computer at ORNL. Rumored specs: 14 SMX so 2,688 Cuda cores, 6GB ram, 235W TDP. No info WHEN it'll hit the market.

lol name

Idk about 6gb vram size though, its what Tesla K20X uses, more ram means higher TPU too, also lower gpu freq.

Im hoping for at least 4.2Tflops.

I hope this will be the next Geforce cause my GTX 680 slows down a lot when using 4x SGSSAA and more and i try to skip a SLI Solution, but thought about that, my modded Skyrim most of the time uses 1.8-2Gigs of VRAM too so for modding that card IS overkill but only for mortals there is something like Overkill lol

the 680 is very poweful card, don't care but GPGPU, besides some games issues that it's the fault, the card is pefect for me. however if the Titan will be a REAL titan, 35-50%+ increase in performance i might break a routine...

Yep. Those specs are a bit of an EASY rumor. Just take K20X and make it Geforce, no clocks, just a silly name and a TDP everyone has come to expect from nVidia's big GPUs. The Source is Sweclockers so I mangled it in Google Translate:

Calculation Card Nvidia Tesla K20X based on GK110 with 2688 CUDA cores, 384-bit memory bus, and 6 GB of GDDR5 memory. The circuit actually contains 2880 units, but NVIDIA has disabled a cluster (SMX), presumably for production reasons. While stopping the clock frequencies at relatively low 732 MHz GPU and 5.2 GHz GDDR5.

According SweClockers sources the launch of the GeForce Titanium to resemble that of the GeForce GTX 690th Partner Manufacturers must follow Nvidia's reference design to the letter and can not even put their own stickers on graphics cards. The performance is estimated at about 85 percent of a Geforce GTX 690th

The same sources claim that Geforce Titanium released in late February and has a suggested retail price of 899 USD.
LOL slightly different info than TPU mentioned. The rumor mill must be really at it atm. $899 huh...that's a bit excessive.

1.5gb with 1 gtx580 good for what? locking all your games to 30fps.

Nvidia Geforce TiTAN 780?
ASUS TiTAN 780? (I admit this sounds good tho)

I'm sure its just the chips name. Because that's a bad name. I say this because I read somewhere(incorrectly imho) that they might try to get away from the GTX names.
