The demo, which came the Total Recall BD, was a disappointment in my opinion. It played well enough and looked nice but I've seen it all before so it all felt a bit stale to me. As such I cancelled my pre-order and will wait to see what the reviews are like.

What's the point of buying the full game if they let you use everything in demo. That's typical of GOW devs, they leave you with a tease. And about the combat itself, let me just say this, "If it ain't broken, don't fix it." They could add a feature here and there, but overall it's satisfying the way it is and this is coming from a person who has replayed all the GOWs million times and still hasn't gotten tired of it.

Completely agree and that's why I cancelled my Xbox LIVE subscription after 8 years and plan on selling my mostly unused Xbox 360 over the coming months (plus my Wii as well). The PS3, for me, has the best exclusives, the best PSN downloads and PSN+ is just superb value for someone like myself who isn't interested in online gaming at all. Even if you're only technically renting the games for as long as you subscribe, it is still plenty of time to play them as much as you want.

The second demo I tried last night (not the one that came with the Total Recall 2012 BD) had some pretty amazing visuals but the framerate is all over the place and I yearned for the silky-smooth 60 fps of the God of War HD ports on the PS3. Not interested in the multiplayer either so I don't think I'll bother with this unless it is given away free on PS+. I think the games are really getting a bit stale now.

Can't believe i'm saying this but I think I might give this one a miss, or wait for it to drop in price.

I´m a fan of GOW but the series have stalled badly!!!

I still haven´t finished GOW 3 because is basically the same as GOW 1 with one or two differences and a stupid story...

The best one was without doubt the first one, the others are simply more of the just for the purpose of making an easy buck...
