UDATED 04/19/13
All Drivers from now on should only be used with the Flash Players provided on this forum. Why? Well, with the Latest (Flash Player 11.7.700.169) the driver cease to function correctly when playing videos. At the moment this bug has only been confirmed on Windows 8, so Windows 7 and Vista Users may still have full hardware acceleration without any inconsistencies.
Link to Flash Players that Work with Drivers.
Flash Player 11.6.602.180
Flash Player 11.6.602.171
Flash Player 11.6.602.168
The 11.6 Flash Player seems to only function correctly when using the Dxva Switcher.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Flash Player 10.3.183.75
Flash Player 10.3.183.68
The 10.3 Flash Player allows Windows 8 users to use Hardware Acceleration with the Dxva Switcher and the App Switcher

Ok.. did some general playing and lite benchmark on 10 games using this driver..!!
Result for my HD 4650:
This driver is having a bad avg fps. I mean,, the peak FPS count for games are very good and very high but .. the low's are very very low.. and so it is not giving a smooth game-play .
Massive trouble in games :
Assassins Creed III
Hitman Absolution
Prototype 2
Medal Of Honor WarFighter
rest all games had a performance degrade..
Final Word :
I liked the 12.10 modded Dellon more than this one
EDIT : Found problem with the ' atiumdva.cap '. The cap file included in this driver is from the 12.11 beta 11 Actual package right, so I'm not able to play videos. but when I replace the cap file with the one in the 12.10WHQL Original the video starts playing.. Dellon have the look at this issue .

I think AMD will release 12.10 very soon. They have to patch some security vulnerability in the software.

Ok thats good...
But it will be more good if they try to fix some bugs and try to improve a bit of performance for the DX10 part of the HD4000 series GPUs...
just a new catalyst for only a security vulnerability fix does not feels nice

A new Catalyst is coming in a few days. Let's hope it's for legacy cards too.

Great community of modders - THANK YOU! -
12-28-2012, 01:40
As it was not enough that many times we have to rely on selfless actions of videogames' modders who work in most cases for free to help the others enhance their gaming experience and/or solve problems instead of the devs...
Nowadays, we need similar creative and adventurous people, who are enhancing our gaming experience on even lower level, i.e. the graphic drivers.
In other words the gigantic company which we payed (not a little) for their products made from sand and a few metals is unable to provide their customers with basic support, i.e. optimizing the drivers for new games.
So clearly, Mr. Dellon132 is more competent than the whole friggin' amd.
That is something to remember during my next card purchase.
This kind of aggressive marketing strategy: "buy a new card from us at least every 3 years or F U! and eat our lies about quarterly support" is beyond! all understanding and either amd should really quickly change its menageriement or their slippery slope to bankrupcy is willful and intentional.
I pray to you, Dellon132 , for early 64bit version of your modded drivers..
And don't mind any trolling, name calling, jealous, incapable twats who will try to throw their poisonous spits on your efforts..

Unless the performance is connected to a certain bug in a certain game you shouldn't expect any performance increase whatsoever for legacy cards. They've basically squeezed as much as possible from the 4k and 5k series and are working mainly on increasing performance for the 7k series (as they get better at understanding the new GPU) and improvements for the 6k series should also show up.
Obviously there are cost-effectiveness in the equation and it's just not viable to have a separate team work on legacy card drivers not to mention the mess and trouble the current driver developers would have if they would have to cover every card from the 3k-series all the way up to the 7k-series and give each GPU equal amount of work. We'd see a driver release every 6 months at most.
The biggest difference between AMD and nVidia when it comes to legacy products is that the nvidia drivers are bloated with unchanged old legacy drivers. AMD decided to separate legacy drivers from the main kit. And really, with a 4k-card you shouldn't need any new drivers unless there's bug in a certain game, and then you must find out if it's a driver issues or a game bug, then you must create an issue report and wait for a hotfix for that particular issue if they can recreate it.

I disagree with the people who defend AMD without having a legacy card but.. my next build will be based on an AMD apu processor. Ironic, huh? The apu's gpu is strong enough to play light games.

Hmm... Try uninstalling and delete your current driver in device manger then scan for hardware changes and it will install another driver. After doing so, select update driver in driver software then click on "browse my computer for driver software." Next select "Let me pick from a list." Now you should see all drivers you installed for the card. Install then uninstall and delete each one. Delete all drivers except the WDDM 1.1 and the basic adapter. When you're finish restart your PC and try installing the modded drivers again.
The problem you are currently experiencing will be fix in the next update sorry
for the inconvenience. Will Release Hotfix for 64bit OS soon.
