Might look interesting, but isn't this game by the same developers that did the King Arthur role playing games, because those games and their previous games, have all been release with so many bugs and never fixed, I would expect the same with this one. One developer to avoid at all costs.

No idea..
Everything in that trailer looks great. So my first impressions are very positive. I guess we'll see how its turning out as it gets closer to release.

King Arthur also looked good, go visit the Steam forums for that game and see how many people complain about the bugs and lack of fixes.

Maybe, but I don't really care about king arthur. As I said, as this gets closer to release there'll be more footage, gameplay commentaries and so on.. then I'll know if its good. I'm in no rush to write this game off.

It's a really good game, sure it's just the first of three parts (But also priced accordingly at ~15 USD.) and the game length is on average 8 - 10 hours but it's a really good experience if you like this genre of games.

I've just bought this as it looked interesting and at a tenner I figured I couldn't go wrong. But, wow, 19 GB for a £10 game... sheesh... I thought I'd misread it and it was actually 1.9 GB...

I guess it won't be coming to the consoles anytime soon then?

*EDIT*
Ah, OK, so it's a more reasonable 8.3 GB but still surprisingly large for a budget title.

Right click on the folder and choose properties, it's 18.5 GB, Steam uses compression so the download is normally smaller than the actual game.

For $15/£10 it's a bargain. They've still got a fair few bugs to quash however, and there's a biggy in multiplayer co-op mode. The game's crashing for whoever joins the server, and doesn't save progression, everything is lost, and player level is reset to 1.

Really hoping they prioritize that one.

Overall I'm really enjoying the game, and it's aesthetically pleasing, the GUI and menus are beautifully polished.

Here's 40mins worth of play from ForceSC2strategy (definitely gonna' be some spoilers!) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?&v=OomnRceDkaU

I left my game downloading overnight but only had the chance to play the game for 40 minutes before work.

I'm impressed with the overall look and feel of the game. It's a fantasy action-RPG into the style of Diablo III and Titan Quest and so isn't exactly original in any sense of the word but it still manages to be very enjoyable as you do quests, level up and learn new powers. I only played it solo and it felt very polished and smooth with only some very, very minor stuttering every now and again (there are various options to play around with though to try to eliminate this issue). Graphically the game is very pleasant and animation is good (I like the way bodies turn over when you loot them). The user interface works exactly how you'd expect it to and the inventory menu even has a Reorganize (read: sort) function which is nice. To be honest, I think I'd have bought this game if it had been £20-£25 so at £10 it is a steal if you love these kinds of point 'n' click action-RPGs like I do. I'm surprised at how little fanfare it is getting; if it wasn't for this thread then I wouldn't have even known about it.

My only gripes with the game, albeit minor ones, are the lack of subtitles on the introductory video (where you're shown a map) and the surprisingly long loading times between new areas you're entering for the first time (going back to a previous area seems to load much quicker though).

i'll never understand why killing animals like wolves results in gold droppings..

they carry gold around inside their ball sacs or what?

great game though, enjoying it so far, in short bursts this game is a lot of fun.

Fun Helsing lol
