Oh boy, Christmas came early! A friend of mine just gave me FIVE Scythe Gentle Typhoons . Can't wait to install them, heard good things about them.

They should be pretty amazing low noise fans, one of the best for low speed rads if you have water cooling.

I got one of the 1850RPM ones a few weeks back for my CPU cooler. It's 100% silent with my motherboard controlling the RPM and barely audible inside the case under load. Good fans!

Pretty happy with these idle temps


Next thing is to get a Fan Splitter to allow my two front Fractal Fans to work with the Typhoons. Also, the ASrock Z77 Extreme4 has a PWM on the bottom of the board, so that fan is running the full 1850 RPM at all times. Hopefully the splitter should fix that.
