Why do we care about them not developing a native app for Gmail for Windows Phone? It's not needed. I've got my Gmail emails just by adding an account, I don't want a ****e app from Google (excuse my French) for something my Windows Phone already does.
Also Google Drive? Fair enough but that's why we have Skydrive. At least Skydrive is available on Android so I can sync my OneNote items and other documents, pictures etc. across so I have nothing to whine about.
And before the Windows Phone bashers and the Android whores come along yes I do own 2 Android devices.

If Windows mobile devices catch on google will change their stance. They already make 80% of all their mobile revenue from iOS and only 20% from Android, despite a similar marketshare.

I agree with this. The default email app on Windows phone works fine.
They needed to make new apps for iOS because Apple's apps suck.

I think it's funny that they went and released a better version of their own mapping product on iOS before serving their own Android customers first.
Google are making massive strides with just about everything and hats off to them but don't talk bs about releasing an app for an OS that doesn't require it.
Also are they forgetting they already have an app in the Windows Marketplace?
