New in Release 310.70:

ODE Driver WHQL
The R310 drivers are the fourth ‘Optimal Drivers for Enterprise’, a release dedicated to relatively long term stability for ISV certification, OEMs, and Enterprise customers.
OepnGL 4.3 support on Kepler and Fermi series GPUs.
Workstation Features – Mosaic and Sync
Mosaic topology configurations are now preserved across driver over installs.
Sync settings will persist across driver over install with 310 drivers and up.
NVWMI 2.9
Workstation: Windows 7 and later
Improves performance of the profile framework
Implements saving on an nView desktop profile in the method ProfileManager::saveDesktopProfile
Supports saving a display EDID in the method Display::saveEDID
NVIDIA Control Panel
The NVIDIA Control Panel Access Control features allow workstation enterprise administrators to control which features of the NVIDIA Control Panel are available to users.
Manage 3D Settings Category: NVIDIA Driver Controlled Mode – Windows 7 and later
New mode that causes the GPU to automatically apply the best performance and image quality settings when using features such as Mosaic, SDI, and G-Sync/Quadro Sync.
Display-> Change Resolution Page: Select Displays option – Windows 7 and later
New option to apply customer resolutions to multiple displays at once.
nView Desktop Manager
Bird’s Eye View feature replaces the UI tab->edit gridlines feature. Provides a 10,000 foot overview of all desktops and allows manipulation of windows, desktops and gridlines.
Workstation application compatibility fixes. Please read the release notes for more information on product support, feature limitations, driver fixes and known compatibility issues.

I will say that thread is really out of date. And the instructions are really badly made. When I first modded an INF and tried using that thread it made no sense to me. Modding drivers is a lot easier then it sounds. I think if people knew that it really is just copy and pasting two or three things in the same place all the time (signing up for these forums is a more tedious process) people like SLI-756 would do it themselves.

Ive made one but it gets half way through the install and fails so im doing something wrong and yes that thread is well out of date.

310.70 is the same driver we were using since last week. Don't waste time with modded inf

Interesting they only release WHQL for Quadro, but maybe GeForce version is coming soon.

I tried again, Veteran, still no joy, only thing i can think is cause i've recently flashed bios, i'll see if another .inf shows up somewheres, no worries man.

erm, not only the bottom, u have to edit others too..

tested yours quick, didnt work foir me nether..

Why? Just take the entire inf. But it's really unnecessary, since the drivers are the same.

Cant. The naming of The inf is also different now. And Some other stuff its safest to take The original quadro inf and edit The cards u need in.

Easy to rename a file. It's safe to use the GeForce 310.70 driver that already includes GeForce features such as PhysX.

Modifying this Quadro driver invalidates WHQL anyway.

Don't know what is happening with GeForce 310.70 WHQL.. Maybe they chose to delay it. They did change name from "certified" to "BETA" after all.

I copied the strings and also copied from this point

[nv_CplInstaller_addreg]

all the way down to this point

[DestinationDirs]

There is only 2 large lots of strings to copy and paste which i did from the beta 310.70 driver.


Works for me, If it didnt i wouldnt have uploaded it, wierd stuff.
