Is it just me or does Firefox suffer from screen tearing when scrolling since the latest update? (Win 7 64Bit)

Haven't got this issue, I'm using Firefox beta 17.0 BTW.
As of now I've switched o IceDragon, give it a try, it is based on Firefox, really good. Plus the interface is very similar to Firefox so no getting used to..

Well I'm running beta 18.0 and never got that problem.. It could've been a one-time issue. Or is it still happening?

I've had with 16 and 17. Strangely enough nothing with Win8 (which I don't want to use).

It's not just the latest update, I've had it for a long while. Do you use smoothwheel?

Dunno why but it never felt right for me, even IE9 is smoother but anyway .. I read this on mozillazine while I was searching for fixes for the scrolling.
set in about:config
"general.smoothScroll.mouseWheel.durationMaxMS
and
general.smoothScroll.mouseWheel.durationMinMS
to 150, and the Lag feeling will be gone."
It's a lot better for me now even with smoothwheel disabled.

i always had bad scrolling performance in firefox compared to other browser.
even worse when videos and playing it. half of the video is separate from the other half when scrolling
chrome has great smooth scrolling but then uses more memory and cpu
of course as of writing this task manager is showing 10 chromes running
I only use firefox and internet explorer if chrome wont work with some site

Of course IE is smoother. The hardware acceleration is superior to Firefox.
