Hey guys first of all nice too meet you guys been strolling these forums for a while, and me as well had some problems with FarCry3. But i got everything in working order 50/60 fps on Fc3 with SweetFx, Settings on ultra 2xmsaa pre rendered 3 V-sync 1 Hdao (if im not mistaken) Now dont immidiatly think that my pc is one from nasa, running 8gb ddr3 1600, Intel core i5-760 and 2x GTX560 in sli, What i found out is when u get a blackscreen running fc3dx11, with sweetFx just press home or scroll lock, then u get the normal screen (with sweetFX enabled ofc!) For the people fiddeling around with the Nvidia inspector STOP! Download Nvidia SLI profile tool ( scroll down choose slow download its free) http://www.geeks3d.com/20100528/manage-your-sli-profiles-with-nvidia-geforce-sli-profile-tool/ Then download this file (just a Txt file in a rar) http://www.filefactory.com/file/21v4jed2xm6t/n/NVIDIA_Profiles.rar Then open your nvidia sli profiler, then backup your current sli profiles then load the Txt file thats in the rar, Here is some proof im running the game smooth on dx11 Hope it helped the guys with Nvidia sli and fps problems! man i just wanna ask you about the best FOV setting, i have a 19.3 inch 16:10 screen, i feel sickness from the fov even at 75,3 and any performance tweaks , i'm having some minor stuttering.thanks
I'm not sure what the point of this post is. Are you just saying that you're seeing a black screen with sweetfx? You can just post that in the sweetfx thread.... like everyone else... Otherwise I'm not sure what this post is about.
Hi Misha, I just registered on this forum to say thank you and tell you I've done extremely happy. You helped me a lot. Couldn´t get the two cards will work in tandem. One worked to 99% and the other one to 6%, now, with your help, I got an increase of 25-30 fps when the SLi works at full perfomance. I repeat, thanks a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT Greetings from Spain!!!
Dont be an a**, OP is just trying to help. Clearly states that the he/she has a FIX for SweetFX and a welcome to the forums probably wouldn't be amiss. The only thing op could be faulted on is not posting it in the Far Cry 3 thread. Anyway, thanks Misha87. Will give this a go now.
Careful though : this tweak will not work at 100 %. The scaling will be destroyed as soon as you shoot something. Dynamic decals issue. The only fix so far is the custom SLI bits provied by Matso. Use NVIDIA inspector.
No, he just discovered the key button to disable SweetFX. Obviously, when you disable SweetFX, the black screen problem disappear. At the moment, smaa injector and SweetFX only works for Farcry in DX9.
Yup pretty much what Dorak said. I tried this fix and got a significant FPS boost. Going from 30-50 to 60-90, but when I shot something the FPS took a huge dive. I haven't had any luck with the SLI bits either, so I'm hoping Nvidia are able to fix this in the near future (preferably early next week).
