AMD Catalyst 12.11 Beta11 is now available, and includes the following updates:
(Please note that AMD Catalyst 12.11 Beta11 includes all of the fixes found in previous versions of AMD Catalyst 12.11 Beta)
- Improves performance in Far Cry 3 (up to 25% with 8xMSAA, SSAO enabled @ 1600p, and up to 15% with 8xMSAA, HDAO enabled @1600p) (AMD Catalyst 12.11 CAP2 must also be installed)
- Resolves a sporadic system hang encountered with a single AMD Radeon HD 7000 Series GPU seen on X58 and X79 chipsets.
- Resolves an intermittent hang encountered with AMD Radeon HD 7000 Series GPUs in a CrossFire Eyefinity setup.
- Resolves image corruption found in certain DirectX 9.0c titles
- Resolve missing fonts issue in XBMC
- Resolves no video issue found in Media Player Classic Home Cinema when using full or half floating point processing
- Resolves stability issues found in the previous AMD Catalyst 12.11 Beta8 driver for Linux
- For users experiencing issues with HDMI Audio under Ubuntu 12.04, users should try installing the “dkms-hda - 0.201211291615~precise1” package from https://code.launchpad.net/~ubuntu-a...aily/+packages and reboot; this will resolve the HDMI Audio issue found in Ubuntu 12.04

Resolved issue highlights of AMD Catalyst™ 12.11 Beta
•Resolves performance issues (where GPU activity runs at lower values than expected) seen on the AMD Radeon HD 7870
•AMD Catalyst Mobility 7970M performance for AMD Enduro™ Technology supported platforms has been substantially improved for DirectX 10 and DirectX 11 applications. An updated driver for 7970M users featuring AMD Enduro™ Technology with additional
DirectX 9 performance improvements will be released soon.

What this means? For Enduro or for all devices?

I still have no sound from HDMI... so that issue is still there. Which stems from clocks being too low.
This happens right after I disable ULPS. Should I not be disabling it to OC with this set?
Edit: Never mind, has nothing to do with ULPS... it's simply the same as before. No sound because voltage and clocks are too low.

Ultra shadows does not work in skyrim, just like with 12.9 beta.
Also getting flickers/artifacts in witcher 2 (no flicker with 12.6.)

Driver is terrible! Majority of the same problems still there!
No sound via HDMI.
Too low clocks.
Explorer crashing.
Driver crashing.
Did a clean install with ATIMan. Not running any overclocking software.

Must be something about your system, ive not had any of those problems..
Hate to sound like a help-desk idiot, but have you tried a fresh OS install?
also, set your CPU OC back to stock just for the heck of it...

First bug so far... After watching a video with DXVA on, the clocks stay at 500Mhz. It shoud say 501Mhz ( the normal, when I'm watching the video ), but when I close the video it just goes from 501Mhz to 500Mhz lol... First time I see exactly 500. My idle clocks is normally 300Mhz.
Let's see the games now.

I played half an hour of BF3 with these drivers. No crashes, no glitches yet. Overall performance has improved. Nice job!

If you got 7950, still need this driver or not? (over the previous non hotfix)

Damn it, on BF3 the boost is real... It's almost like when I had my card overclocked at 1050Mhz ( 900 default ).
I'm playing Caspian full Ultra, 1080p and just a few times it goes below 50FPS, while it was happening very often before.
This means... Ultra with 2xMSAA you should be playing FINE! At least on vanilla maps.

arghhhhh loveing the performance BUT one thing bothering me my clock speeds are all over while idle.
core can go 300/450/1050
memory stuck at 1200
suppose i can live with memory being at 1200 for now at least core downclocks to 300..
would be nice to have cool memory during the night though : / pc is on 24/7 might just down clock it manually before bed to 150 : )

No noticeable improvements for me at all, but I think my CPU is a real bottleneck.
