Nvidia sli not running on 306.23

Mainboard:

Default Nvidia sli not running on 306.23 - 10-07-2012, 16:05 | posts: 5

I am running on version 301.42 both cards are being used because I can see the temp on both cards running and the resources. When I updated the drivers only one card gets used. I don't understand I go to nvidia control panel- 3d settings and I don't see sli only PhysX Indicator can someone help me out?

Nvidia gtx 560ti

PSU- Corsair 650W ATX12V

Cpu- MD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition 3.4ghz

Mobo-ASUS M5A97 AM3+ AMD 970 SATA 6Gb/s

Ram- G.SKILL Sniper 16g DDR3 1333

I do see the 2nd card but no I didnt not delete the old drivers before I installed the new driver I thought it would delete from updating

Always when installing check the Clean driver installation box, now before you do it again, use Driver sweeper in order to completely remove all Nvidia drivers, and then install new ones from ''ground up''!

in the nvidia control panel I see no option at all about sli so I don't understand I have a bridge but it doesn't seem to snap on just goes in smoothly but kinda loose but not firm

I`m on that driver currently. try taking both cards out. put them back in put the sli bridge back on and reinstall the drivers.

Looking at the bridge I don't think it fits right I used a Asus and it doesn't not fit in correctly it has to much play doesn't seem to snap in.

does that board officially support sli? are you using a hacked driver 301.42?

Your motherboard does not support SLI! Go to Asus website and you'll see.

You do not need to buy a motherboard.

Use this hyper SLI and you will save some cash man.

HyperSLI (Enabling SLI on non-sli motherboards)
