I get the odd couple of those ones were they just welt up and cant be popped to clean them out, not chronic but there's still the little ones that are nothing more than tiny red bumps all over the place. Change clothes every day.

I have a pretty clean diet, mainly chicken (fresh breast no skin baked or grilled in the pan) broccoli or cauliflower and brown rice. Fast food maybe once/twice every two weeks - Pizza. Go through about 4-6 bottles of 1.5ltr water (tap) a day. Also take a protein Supp - http://dailysupps.co.nz/goldstandard5lb.

Any idea's.

Scrub clean with some super extra strength girly (haven't found any for 'men' that are comparable in strength) exfoliating stuff,
or do it the MachoMan way and use some good ol' sandpaper.

After area of skin is cleaned and dried, wipe with some rubbing alcohol, let air dry,
after this put on thin layer over the bump and surrounding area with something like desitin because you want to keep it dry, this will help wick away the moisture throughout the day.
(better alternative than using anti-presp. deodorant to keep moisture away which in some cases can cause even worse b-acne)

Fortunately I've never been ailed by acne. Probably because I'm hairy as a teddy bear. However I have used this method on some quite nasty ingrown hairs and it works very well, and how different are they really?

Hmm, do you sweat a lot on a daily basis? My advice would be to just let it be for a few weeks. Take a shower before work/school/early in the morning and one in the evening after everything is done. It would be better if you let the hot water on your back for a bit, it should open up the pores.

Do that on a regular basis, and see if those helps. If it doesn't, then you might use some anti-acne cream, although in my experience, they don't really help.

Burn it in the sun! Get tanned (remember to use a sun screen) and it'll be gone!

Take Minocycline (around ~100mg once a day) and use anti-bacterial/anti-acne body soap liquid wash together for several months and it should go away.

actually they are pretty annoying.

had them myself all my life and am over 30! am on anti-biotics prescribed by doctor.

sun does work but am not paying x for a solarium. although that is a possibility you could try...

the exfoliating stuff does help. i usually nick my sisters

it really sucks especially if you are eating healthily.

oh and the biggy here is dont touch! touching them makes it worse!

maybe try a loofah or something similar to actually scrub the back more. Antibacterial soap or body wash might help as well.
And as a joking comment- Stay off the roids.

I had a few back zits before, they hurt so bad.

After several treatments that worked to no avail the doctor suggested that go to an acupuncturist.

When I went there this little Chinese guy had me lay face down on the table while he lit some scented candles and hummed along to some New Age music.

He than had me take my clothes off and rubbed me down with oil. Soon after he began to poke the zits with a hot needle which was very painful. After that he took these glass bulbs and lit a match under them before placing them over the bleeding zit...

It created suction and pulled all the puss out. He than rubbed his bald head over my body and ask if he could preform some foot slapping therapy...

He got onto the table, sat on my butt and slapped my back repeatedly with his cold wrinkly feet..

Oddly enough it worked like a charm, I'd recommend him, but the weirdest thing is....he wasn't really the acupuncturist. It turns out he was just the uncle who just escaped from the insane asylum, he was nice though.

Add some other vegies to your diet, such as carrot, pumpkin, spinach, silverbeet, leek, red onion (actually slightly different nutritionally to white or brown), tomato, capsicum (each colour) etc. Basically just mix it up. You don't need to have all the vegies each meal, and also good to get what is in season and is cheaper . Also get things such as parsley (finely chopped, don't use sparingly!), dill, fennel, garlic, shallots, and ginger. You should aim to get at least ginger into every meal. Also try and have eggs a couple of times a week, either fried with a tiny bit of sunflower oil, poached, or scrambled. Scrambled is a great way because you can add a bit of the milk to it, as well as some finely chopped parsley, capsicum, onion, spinach, leek). Don't separate the yolk and whites, all of the egg is actually good for you. Eggs have had a bad rep in the passed due to their apparent nutrition profile (which actually turns out to be a good thing!), and the fact that people blamed them instead of the things they were cooked with. Eggs were traditionally fried with fatty sausages or bacon, usually with added animal lard so they didn't stick to the pan, and it's the lard, sausages and bacon that were the bad things, but eggs were easier to blame.

Do you have any dairy products? If you're not lactose intolerant a glass or two of full cream (yes, whole milk!) could be beneficial.

That's pretty much the diet side.

Also purchase a good full featured balanced multivitamin like Swisse Ultivite (I take it you are in New Zealand, it's available there too).

Now, onto the other side of things, your clothes. Changing your shirt each day won't help if the shirts are a contributing factor. You might have a reaction to the laundry detergent/powder used, so try changing it. Also wash your clothes in at least warm water (40C for colours). There are two reasons why you want warmer water over cold water. The first is, as a simplification, try reason why you wash your dishes in hot water and not cold. The second is because the enzymes in the detergent/powder require at least 30C to work properly. This is true even for stuff like 'Cold Power', many brands may actually require even higher. 40C is the 'standard' and actual recommended temperature for colours. If you wash at 50C it will have the benefit of helping to kill bacteria, fungi, mildew etc. Also say, once a year, run a litre or two of pure white vinegar at the hottest water settng, followed by an extra rinse cycle. This cleans out the washing machine, and kills any pathogens inside. This is different to adding it to the final part of the cycle like many people do, since it is added to the main cycle, and is fully rinsed out during the rinse cycle.

Regardless of whether it is a top or front loader, remember to leave the door/lid OPEN after use, never ever leave them closed! (front loader you can leave the door open a few centimetres).

You want to leave the lid/door open so you don't leave a cool, damp environment which is ideal for mildew and fungi to grow. It's a very common mistake that people make, especially with a front loader. That, and not emptying and cleaning the lint catcher at least once a year.

Back Acne is actually surprisingly common, I think it's 20% of the population has it at one point or another in their adult life.

Peroxide works well, just use a towel and apply after a shower. Works by drying out skin. Diet changes don't work imo, seems hormone related, specifically testosterone related. I started getting them again in my 30's once I started a HGH/Testosterone boosting supplement cocktail.

When i was in my early teens i suffered badly with acne...not chronic but as close as you could get...i tried everything...even clearasil and prescribed medication...but all that did was remove a few layers of my face and depress me even more.
30 yrs on and the only thing that works is keeping my face hair to a stubble which keeps the pores open allowing for the oils to release and be cleaned away, other than that you could try hormone treatment.

You have to face facts...you could have them for life ,im 42 and i still get them...mainly on my back
