Yes, I will be getting it without a doubt. I'm going to go for the promotional upgrade offer at $40 US for the pro version. The haters can hate all they want, I like new stuff.

Depends on the price, and how much i keep using it before it's out.

I'm starting to understand it much more now, and the more i use it, the more i dread using W7, kinda like i was when using XP after W7.

It also depends on HTPC support, as at present it's limited and that is something that is important to em, but when it comes to gaming, its undoubtedly the best OS around, and will only get better.

Since its faster in loading, have some additional stuff that Windows 7 dont have, taking less memory, then i will keep Windows 8.

Nope. I'll wait for SP2 for W7. W8 it's a waste of money. I can buy new games which runs very well on W7, instead of new W8

I don't want to, but i probably will.... seeing as new pc's will all come with it and they will shove it down everyone's throat. I need to support it... metro can be dealt with in various ways... F***ING METRO!

Just a prediction but among the general population there's going to be a s**tstorm of complaining about the Metro ui. Interesting times ahead... im not a MAC guy but i see an even bigger exodus to mac coming then is already starting.... oh snap yes i did!

Pointless trying to avoid or disable Metro, whether people like it or not W8 untouched will end up being a success.
It's not like Vista were it was unpopular with casual users because the OS ended up being slower, this is quicker and also easier to use for new PC/Laptop/Tablet owners.

Avoiding Metro just means you end up being the "noob" when it comes to using it, and will make the transition to W9 even harder as who knows how little of the traditional desktop will remain by then.
