I would like to dedicate this thread to the most horrible pictures of dead caps you guys can find Just to scare these guys, who think that "this can never happen to them" Let's start with HP Pavilion machine pic. TMS 1500uF caps, machine shutting down in 30 sec after power on:

Bulging sligtly and leaking Vent cap, and some nonstandard inferior Fuhjyyu caps - 1650uF 16V? OMG!
Much to my surprise, the CapXon s*it caps are used in Fortron PSUs:

You live nicely and peacefully, till a loud explosion come out of your mobo and your machine fail miserably. Then you check it out and see good Chemi-con KZG caps (DFI LP B) in the Vcore imput filters (1500uF 16V ones) entierly destroyed:



And your machine no longer working. That way exactly the wake up call for me
It was the Fuhjyyu caps in the Antec NEO 480W PSU that caused this anyway, but still...

I make money off bad caps....LCD tv's power supply's are a main money maker...My house is full of 1080p hdtv's thanks to bad caps.......

Best Deal I got was my 52' samsung/1080p/2010 model for $75 duckbone's...Cost me $2 dollars to fix(1100uf 35v)...
