i have made som changes, now im able to launch games use eyefinity for hmm 5- maybe 10 min then it begins to turn of the screen again.

improvement from before where screen turned off as soon as the game launched.

The change i made was a DVI DL>HDMI cable i changed with a SL DVI>HDMI converter and a HDMI cable to the screen.

im using the DVI output, and the HDMI output+ the mini DP, with and active adapter without USB powersupply.

did you check the clock speeds of the gpu? on idle in windows for the past few ATI drivers my third screen would switch off regularly and its because the idle clocks are too low. If i run something 3D intensive the issue goes away( latest beta drives dont do it anymore )
