External memory storage for the Nexus 7

by default, the nexus 7 is set to usb client when running on the go operations, so its not as simple as plugging in an external hard drive and using it straight away.

you'll need to root the device and tweak a few settings before you can use flash drives and hdds via usb on the go.

alternatively, theres the kingston wi-drive or theres a 'nexus media importer' app on the android market that does the job too.
