not really, think this was totally ignorant to say sorry,

society today is actually shaped by the older generations, today it stems from the 60's, 70's and 80's generations,

if you look at the peace movement, women liberation and all other movements of recent history it all stems from that about being a individual and that people should respect you and that respect is earned not given so the now older generations cant handle this yet they caused it.

also of the negative way the press reports on things, yes im gonna go there but its just like the so called Muslim riots, it was actually only 0.007% of the worlds 1.5 billion Muslims that are having the violent clashes and they are a minority extremist group, did you know that today it is actually proven to be less violent on the streets then it was in the 80's.

what this actually incident shows is that there needs to be more education on the way the internet works so people are less likely to repeat te mistakes from the past.

just my 2 cents anyway

The mistake the girl Merte made on facebook (public invite) went viral and got 30.000 RSVPs. Then it reached the media and was reported in the news ... that's where it got out of control real fast.

I'm not even going to say what I think about the Muslim riots over here in Australia. Other than it was flat out disgusting.

And I don't particularly agree. I still think these days the media and everyone is tell you how much rights you have. And if something happens you're entitled to sue people for damages and it just go's over the top.

No one takes responsibility for their actions.

There's definitely an increase in safety from things but there's also a huge influx of stupidity and lack of common sense and no responsibility or respect.

But hey. That's your opinion.
