^ Great news for my brother who just bought an HTC ONE X several days ago...

He's been bugging me to update his phone & I've told him to be patient, the official JB update will shortly arrive.

Thanks for the good news Hilbert!

Why bother wait for official updates when some features will never arrive due to absolutely anything being patentable? I recommend installing CyanogenMod 10 and calling it a day.

I've tried all the roms on my HTC WFS.
I'm using WildChild 3.3 atm cause CM 10 still has some bugs that need fixing.

Because CM10 is riddled with bugs on a whole number of different phones.

well some people like me are hooked with Sense Shell. So now I prefer sense over CM. However CM gives me more customization but im liking the way Sense looks and runs on my HTC one S

Steve Kondik the lead dev of Cyanogen mod is a Samsung employee and as such CM supports Samsung devices a lot better than the rest. It runs flawlessly on my Galaxy Nexus too. But straying from the more popular devices to non-Samsung ones or even newer Samsung devices like the GS3 and you run into problems. The GS3, at least on sprint, has a number of issues related to data switching between 3G/4G, some intermittent sound issues and some camera issues.

CM10 is good but it's definitely not as workable as an OTA is on some phones, currently.

Yeah, CM10 works so much better on my Galaxy S than it does on my brothers HTC Desire HD, which is surprising as in general the Desire HD is a quicker phone, CMD10 also went through a bad patch there were the nightlies were quite poor, so it's not something i would recommend to anyone.

He also hated stock Android compared to Sense, so ended up going for the BlackOut ICS rom, which is essentially should of been an official OTA update.

Will be interesting to see who gets JellyBean out first, HTC or Samsung.

With regards to 3g/4g issues your absolutely right. Luckily I use neither.

Should you happen to use 3g/4g there are known issues using them with CM10...
