Default Fullscreen games "move" to another monitor? - 09-19-2012, 14:52 | posts: 3

Ok, i have the fallowing setup: CRT on my left, oddly marked since forever as #2 monitor as my primary, and an LCD on my right on extended, marked #1.

This is a very recent problem, i think since the 306.23, but i might have had it since the beta 306.02. What happens is that in games, Borderlands 2 and Guild Wars 2 what i saw so far, randomly and very rarely, the whole fullscreen game gets moved to the other monitor (CRT>LCD). Alt-tab works as intended, the monitors are still layed out as intended and everything is fine, but if i restore, the game ends up on the other monitor. I also hear the very standard windows bleep in the background, like a pop-up or such appeared, but nothing is there when i alttab.

Did anyone experience this aswell?

PS:; W7Pro 32bit.

Bump.

I also noticed that sometimes my PC 'forgets' one monitor, and throws all my windows on another, and then almost instantly 'reconnects' to the other one. All Windows settings remain the same, such as extended monitors and such, but something is still buggy at the middle.
