yea im hoping it turns out be decent but look at how short the stage was , looks like we will be served up the usual 2-3 minute stages which tbh is a waste of time

Seems to be yet another arcade game, still better than nothing as there arent too many rally games out there. Personally I'm still waiting for a rally game which would be better than Richard Burns Rally and this one clearly is not.

That stage was played with pad and did not look that impressive (dont have that high hopes for very good wheel support), driver was also bad. Still, could be worse and seems that developers understand what people want from a rally game (rally stages), no drifting or gymkhana mentioned on the WRC3 homepage so that is good.

I played WRC 2... even getting the game for free I threw it out after an hour of fiddling with the controls on my G25 wheel.

Then I went outside and thrashed my toyota on a backroad. Yes, thrashing an automatic toyota family sedan on a backroad felt more like a rally car than this driving game.

The handling model, the way the car reacts to inputs, everything was just horrid ... no sense of speed and everything felt unresponsive, force feedback gave no sort of road feedback simulation.

If the new one is anything like the old one, its going to be terrible.

That's a real stage from Rally GB Wales, its short causes it just SS1, Super Stage.
Gfx don't look amazing i agree, but its not finished and i'm sure it will be more polished on release.

Watch this vid much better on a wheel.

Well, after WRC 1 and 2 fail, I think that it's safe to forget about 3 and return to RBR.

Perhaps there will be Project CARS addon with WRC one day?
