Default Best midi tower ? - 09-16-2012, 15:31 | posts: 359 | Location: Norway

Hey guys
im consiering buying a new midi tower now that my 650D`s fan controller stopped working.. lol i know its not that big of a deal

but as im scouting around i really get confused over the what to pick

i need a reasonable compromise between airflow and asthetics.(i am writing this in a hurry, so i appologize for possible spelling errors.)

Your best choice for cooling is the coolermaster HAF, no not mid tower, a server sized case. But with 230mm fans in front, side, top and a 140 out back, it defines airflow.(This is what my gamer computer-spec's to left is in)

Second best is the colermaster XM case. Technically defined as a id tower case, it splits the difference between a mid tower and server sized. It's claim to fame is a 200mm fan in front and top. Optional 200 mm fans on side, a second one on top and a 140 out back round out the cooling.(This is what my work computer is in, 6950 processor, 275 gtx graphics, 4 gigs ram, blaster sound...

As far as looks, well, honestly, that is up to the individual.

P.S.: coolermaster HAF case

My personal preference are Lian Li's for quality, looks, and cooling. new egg has 26 different models for Lian Li mid cases right now. So their are a good selection of them depending on your needs.
