The new NVIDIA GeForce 306.02 beta drivers are now available to download. NVIDIA Surround
  • Surround settings now persist after new driver install.
Fixed Single-GPU Issues

Windows Vista & Windows 7
  • 3D Surround, 4-way SLI: The NVIDIA Control Panel -> Configure Displays for Surround user-assistance screen does not show the correct GPUs to connect the displays on a 4-way SLI system.
  • GeForce 400 series: After installing the VGA driver and then choosing the ‘restart later’ option, the display goes blank when subsequently installing the NVIDIA driver.
  • GeForce GT 650M: "No compatible hardware found" error occurs when installing the driver.
  • GeForce GTS 400 series: Rendering is not visible with some DirectX 9 applications when Shader model 3.0 is used.
  • GeForce GTX 200 series: Mount & Blade Warband - Stuttering occurs during game-play.
  • GeForce GTX 500 series, 3D Vision: Crysis 2 & DiRT Showdown - Residual images appear throughout the game if 3D Vision is enabled.
  • GeForce GTX 600 series: Titan Quest - Gameplay is jerky and stutters with V-Sync enabled.
Windows 8
  • GeForce GTX 500 series, 3D Vision: Crysis 2 & Dirt Showdown - Residual images appear throughout the game if 3D Vision is enabled.
  • Optimus Notebook: Blue-screen crash occurs pointing to dxgkrnl.sys when attempting to uninstall the driver using the Windows Device manager.
  • SLI, Surround: Intel x59 or x79 - With Surround enabled, a blue-screen crash (0xA: IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL) may occur when enabling or disabling SLI or Surround modes. When re-installing the NVIDIA driver after uninstalling it, the driver may fail to install.

Edit:

Batman:AC 4XMSAA, PhysX Normal, everything else maxed = 78 fps avg.

Fairly sure my last go-round with previous drivers was 72 fps. Only a couple hitches in the bench, so they're getting there...slowly. I figure by 2015 we'll have a pure-smooth Batman:AC experience.

Edit #2

No change in Sleeping Dogs' stuttering. I still must play in a window with AO on normal for pure-smooth.

See if you guys have any issues where the monitor goes to "no signal" while in a game. I'm seeing issues in a few games that I haven't previously. Unless it's an issue with Afterburner causing it, so I'm looking to see if anyone has this. I noticed it happening in BF3 especially.

Just lmk if anyone else has this....

OpenGL 4.3 developer drivers are still a higher branch, so it seems these are just r304_70 (like the 660 Ti drivers recently released) with OpenGL 4.3 support.

It's r304_70-80. You're right about this (at least).

Although these drivers are BETA, they are very very close to the final WHQL driver which we will be releasing in a few days. We wanted to get these drivers out to users sooner for those who have been requesting updated drivers to use with newer graphics cards or games. Once you have had an opportunity to test these drivers, we ask that if you encounter any issues, please take a moment to fill out our driver feedback form. Please provide as much information as you can to assist us in reproducing your issue:

Just tested Arkham City and I lost about 7fps average. My min frames drops to about 8fps whereas the 305.67 drivers were in the mid 40's.

I'll test CS:GO and BF3 once I get back from work, hopefully with better results.

Hmm, yes i saw 305.67 r304-83..

But there is something else with 305.67 openGL4.3 driver and maybe this is the issue in BF3 by NeoandGeo; It was running out of shared system ram.. Check total gfx memory 4096mb (shared 2800mb) like usually, with 305.67 i had total 2300mb (shared 1000mb)..

The bench is very inconsistent due to the hitching in DX11. I ran it 3 times and my minimums were 8, 49, and 32.
