Can anyone confirm if these drivers still have the 1000mhz limit for 500series cards ?? 301.42 - 304.79 all do. 296.10s and prior don't have the limit.

Eg in afterburner overclocking past 1000mhz reverts back to 1000mhz straight away , its driver based.

The Textures do not flicker for me with this driver. But Performance is lower than 304.48.

these have that annoying very very slightly fuzzy text (washed out edges or something) issue that is evident on 150 DPI on 120hz monitor (benq)

rolling back to 300.83 fixes the issue. with 305 version i get massive headaches looking and straining eyes on text, it has barely noticable but very evident washed out edges or something in all aplications, while 300.83 does not have that issue, fonts are clear and my eyes do not need to strain to read text

fxaa is off by the way.

ps i also use 150% zoom in chrome, so i notice it instantly when trying diff driver versions, font edges definitely more fuzzy with 305 than with 300.83

I noticed this too. Its extremely noticeable in Diablo III when skills flash up on the screen.

It will be an official release not a developer driver like these.

Zero difference for me, even OpenGL games don't seem to run any different.

In games only, or in windows/web browsers too?
I'm not noticing anything like that except for maybe with The Last Remnant. But I thought that was just because most of the 2DUI assets were geared for 720p..

That's just the way Prototype 2 is. There's a software bottleneck somewhere in the code, it can't keep my GTX680 loaded.

Because of this, the usage fluctuates wildly, and since the mouse input code is terrible as well, this causes the perceived mouse sensitivity to jump wildly, randomly. One second it's super-high, one second it's very low.

To "fix" this problem, I just created an artificial load to keep the GPU at > 90% usage at all times during the game, and that has mostly smoothed out the mouse handling. It results in only about 40 fps, but it's a tradeoff I'll accept.

To load down the GPU, I simply used nvidia inspector to force 8xMSAA with 8xSGSSAA (using AA behavior flags 0x004012C5 ) - you have to enable FXAA in-game for inspector to be able to override, but it does work.

Was playing MW2 and the game stuttered for a split second and I checked the card and it's stuck in the mid way 2D clocks(in my case 400/405 Mhz)

Changing OC profiles, or stock wouldn't change it. Seems i'll have to restart for it to reset.

Anyone know when they plan to release a official WHQL nvidia driver ?
I am still using the 301.42 and they work perfectly , no problems at all.
