which is better? EVGA gtx 570 (025-P3-1579-AR) (2560mb) or Sapphire Radeon 7850 oc (11200-01-20G)? Is there that big of a difference? Price isn't a factor for me in this case... thx!

The 7850 gets my vote. Slightly more powerful in most cases and more power efficient. That Sapphire cooler is great same one that is on my 7970.

If you do go with Sapphire, get the non overclocked version...no point paying extra when you can OC it yourself imho...

They both come with dual fan cooler...

I dunno I was happy to pay the extra 20 bucks to not have to worry about it.

Cards are roughly the same speed, 7850 has better power usage. Whichever you prefer, id only get the 570 if its much cheaper

I'd go for the 7850 too, cheaper, sligthly faster, less power consumption and 1 extra GB compared to the Gtx570.
No doubts my friend.
