Default help with new monitor - 07-03-2012, 23:56 | posts: 40 | Location: Portugal

I have purchased today a 24' LED monitor, the Samsung SyncMaster S24B350H. My HD4890 doesn't have HDMI exit so I bought a DVI(DVI-D Single Link)/HDMI cable to connect to the monitor. The colors in game are a bit pale and I can't fix them with the monitor settings.

A friend of mine also bought a similar monitor, S23B550V, and doesn't have this problem. His graphics card has HDMI out but I have tried my monitor in his PC and it seems to be the monitor's fault.

Any idea of what the problem could be? How to fix it?

Use your GPU's drivers to adjust saturation and other levels until you're happy.

edit- it'll probably be a combination of monitor settings and gpu driver settings to get the ideal colors.

Problem is the monitor doesn't have DVI input. Only one RGB and one HDMI.
