help with new monitor -

I have purchased today a 24' LED monitor, the Samsung SyncMaster S24B350H. My HD4890 doesn't have HDMI exit so I bought a DVI(DVI-D Single Link)/HDMI cable to connect to the monitor. The colors in game are a bit pale and I can't fix them with the monitor settings.
A friend of mine also bought a similar monitor, S23B550V, and doesn't have this problem. His graphics card has HDMI out but I have tried my monitor in his PC and it seems to be the monitor's fault. Any idea of what the problem could be? How to fix it? |

Use your GPU's drivers to adjust saturation and other levels until you're happy.
edit- it'll probably be a combination of monitor settings and gpu driver settings to get the ideal colors. |

Problem is the monitor doesn't have DVI input. Only one RGB and one HDMI.
