Can you overclock a switchable graphics card? -

I have the amd hd 7690m xt graphics card which is a switchable graphics card, can I overclock this? It keeps getting stuck in idle mode even when playing games and I heard if you overclock it slightly over stock it won't get stuck, please help!
I am using 12.6 beta by the way. |

Yes, but only if you have active manual or by power source switching of graphic card.
Then you can overclock the AMD card. On my card it change only the highest clocks. It's good because in windows you have the lower clocks and in games the overclocked... |

Use Afterburner.
You have to enable "Unofficial overclocking" and then you'll be able to use it. As far as your driver issues go it's a buggy set that AMD releases, so use 12.2 from AMD or from leshcat (leshcatlabs.org) |
