Default Afterburner 2.2.2 OSD not working with TF2 - 06-30-2012, 02:11 | posts: 3,858 | Location: Washington DC

Hey guys,

I was running version 2.2.1 and everything seemed fine and then after the latest TF2 update the OSD doesn't work. I updated to 2.2.2 and the problem still exists. The OSD works fine with all the other games.

Anyone else having this issue?

Both 221 and 222 work fine in TF2 here. Tried a clean uninstall and reinstall, especially if you've changed vid drivers? Meaning, don't keep the folder with the settings and profiles. I do this every time I change vid drivers as it seems there are settings in the registry that get fubared if I keep my settings and profiles. I've gotten it memorized now and can set up AFB in 5 minutes. We have very similar machines and the same vid card. I use it for overclocking the vid card and have a fan profile as well that keeps the fan 5% ahead of the temps. I also use AFB for vid captures. Works very well with little overhead ingame. Good luck.
